As the wife of another CLL patient, we have been dealing with it now for 3 years that we have been aware of his disease. I have given several of your articles to our hematologist and he was impressed. Larry is still in Stage 0 and I hope he stays that way. We feel that the ECGC candy that “Harvey” told us about is helping. I only wish that you had more years with your husband. My heart breaks for you and your family and I am so every grateful for the information that you shared that is helping us.

I kept writing drafts each day, and then reading them over the next, and always ended up discarding them as inadequate.

There are no words that convey our sense of your loss and bring you real solace. You most of all, but the rest of us too, have suffered a great loss.

P.C. and you have done so much for us. Please know that we mourn so deeply for P.C. and for you.

I was never fortunate enough to meet either you or P. C., but through all your caring and sharing, you became friends.

You have both been here to take our hands and provide us with comfort as we journeyed through an unknown world. Now, the many people you constantly encouraged and provided comfort to, are here to provide the same support and comfort to you and your family.

When I originally opened your e-mail telling of P.C.’s passing, I could not respond to it at that time and needed a few days to absorb it. My deepest sympathy. My husband and I have turned to CLL Topics as THE source for news and updates regarding this disease. Although my husband was only diagnosed about a year and a half ago and is currently asymptomatic, I have tried to stay current on any new treatments or information. It would have been very difficult to do without yours and P.C.’s dedication. Thank you for your gifts to all of us. I only hope that in time your pain will lesson and that the support from so many of your followers and friends will comfort you.
